  Start a Healthy Fasting Diet

There are as many different reasons people start a fasting diet as there are different ways to go about it. This is a wonderful solution to clean your body of toxins that accumulate from poor eating habits. During fasting the body will get rid of everything except vital tissue.

You need to be careful when doing any fast, common side effects of a fasting diet is weakness, nausea and dizziness, nasal discharge, sore throat and many people experience serious depression and insomnia. Although these symptoms are usually not considered dangerous, the majority of fasting plans do not recommend that participants engage in physical activity because they may not be ingesting enough nutrients to safely exercise. You do not want to fast too long. Long-term fasting may also lead to the depletion of muscle tissues.

Fresh vegetable and fruit juice fasts are one of the easier forms of fasting as the juices of fresh vegetables or fruits go right into your blood. Juice doesn’t need to stop at the stomach. It goes right into the small intestine, through the intestinal wall and into the bloodstream. Juices fasts will help flush the body of toxins which will leave you feeling healthier. It is an excellent way to maintain a healthy body. A well-planned juice will leave you feeling satisfied and energized.

Drink fruit juices sparingly so as to limit your sugar intake while on a fast. Drink good raw milk if you like milk. Eggs are good for you despite all opinion to the contrary. Drinking excessive coffee may also make you dependent on caffeine. People who used a lot of caffeine and then stopped drinking coffee experienced withdrawal symptoms like headaces. Green tea is much better for you.

Intermittent fasting, unlike regular fasting involves a period of fasting followed by a period of feeding. A regular fast involves a much longer period of not eating.

A specific form of intermittent fasting is alternate day fasting , which is a 48-hour routine typically composed of a 24-hour fast followed by a 24-hour non-fasting period. Another form of intermittent fasting is to eat only one meal per day with no other food intake.

Many people start a fasting diet because of a sickness. If you are not sick, a fast is a way make good health even better. Be careful when doing and fast, it is best to do any serious fasting under the care of a competent health care provider. Fasting can give you such benefits as increased energy, calmness, improved concentration and a feeling of well-being. So, clean out the body and give it a new start.
