The Cabbage Soup Diet
This is a perfect strategy to
start off a weight loss plan you can use to start a permanent
weight loss program. The cabbage soup diet is a 7 day diet that
concerns enjoying cabbage soup and water, along with a few
restricted foods.
If you have some thing crucial
coming up and you need to lose weight fast, the Cabbage Soup
Diet may be just what you will want. This diet will help you
lose weight and lose weight rapidly, at the same time providing
your body with a healthy supply of vitamins and minerals while
you're on a fast. You can drop 8 to 10 lbs within only a week
on a steady supply of nutrition. The recipe is made up of green
peppers, whole tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, cabbage, celery,
Lipton soup mix, bouillon, V8 juice, and seasonings. In
addition to these components, you can even adjust the recipe so
that it will not be dull all through the course of the fasting
diet.
As for the fasting diet
itself, throughout the first day, eat only the cabbage soup and
any fruit with the exclusion of banana. You can drink
unsweetened tea, black coffee and water. For the following day,
eat, uncooked or cooked vegetables other than sweet corn, peas,
and dry beans, in addition to all the cabbage soup you want. Do
not eat fruits. For dinner, eat a big baked potato. On the
third day, eat just as much as fruit, vegetables, and soup
which you wish. For the fourth day, consume 8 bananas and drink
as many glasses of skim milk, along with the cabbage soup. For
the fifth day, you can also eat meat by means of 300-500g of
beef, broiled or baked skinless chicken, or broiled fish. Eat
the cabbage soup at a minimum of once. For the sixth day, eat
beef and fresh vegetables or salad, together with at at a
minimum one serving of cabbage soup. On the final day, you can
start eating unsweetened fruit juice, vegetables, rice, and
cabbage soup.
Here is the
original Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe
Half a head of
cabbage
6 large green
onions
2 green peppers
3 carrots
1 container of
mushrooms
1 bunch of celery
1 or 2 cans of
tomatoes
1 package of Lipton Onion soup
mix
1 48oz can of V8 juice
(optional)
1 or 2 cubes of bouillon
(optional)
Season with salt, pepper,
curry, garlic powder, parsley, or any seasoning that you
like.
1. Chop all of the
vegetables.
2. Add everything to a pot of
water just covering the vegetables, never use tap
water.
3. Bring water to
boil
4.Cover and simmer for about
15 minutes until vegetables are soft.
The Lipton Onion soup mix does
not taste very good to me. I have used a onion soup mix from
Aldi Supermarket and like it much better. Also I can't stand V8
juice, so I leave it out. Aldi is short for "Albrecht
Discount", it is a discount supermarket chain based in
Germany.
