Detox
Diet To Clear Out Accumulation Toxins
Detox diets
can be healthy if followed for a short duration. They encourage
good habits like eating more vegetables and fruits and cutting
out alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, fatty foods and refined foods.
Detox diets typically start with fasting followed by a strict
diet of raw vegetables, fruit and fruit juices, and water. In
addition, some detox diets advocate using herbal laxatives,
antioxidants and enemas to clean the intestine and
liver.

Fruits and
vegetables have their own health benefits. Fruits are easiest
to digest, and offer less fat and more fiber than other foods.
Fruit juice is high in sugar, so if you are a diabetic or
otherwise need to monitor your sugar intake you need to be
cautious of doing a juice fast with fruit juices. Drink plenty
of water while following the diet.
Certain
whole foods have special detoxifying properties that clear out
built up fat, cholesterol and accumulation toxins. Examples of
high quality cleansing foods are cucumbers, parsley, garlic,
apples, kale, collard greens, brown rice and
quinoa.
Anyone
suffering from a chronic disease must talk with their medical
doctor first. Stop if you start feeling unwell. If you suffer
from a specific disease, you will need to maintain the program
for a protracted period of time and work with a health care
provider who can help you. Detox diets are not advised for
people that have specific health conditions like diabetes,
eating conditions, heart conditions and other chronic issues.
They should not be done by those who are pregnant or lactating
mothers.
One of the
most popular detox diets is The Master Cleanse, also known as
the Lemon Cleanse and the Maple Syrup Diet. It is a detox
program created by Stanley Burroughs in 1941 and made popular
by Peter Glickman through his book Lose Weight, Have More
Energy and Be Happier in 10 Days. The book states that The
Master Cleanse is a detoxification program that aids in the
removal of harmful toxins from within the body, as well as a
diet for loss of weight, and a cure for ulcers and "every kind
of disease," resulting in "the correction of all
disorders."
The Master
Cleanse involves drinking only lemonade made from fresh lemon
or lime juice, maple syrup, water and Cayenne pepper. No solid
food is eaten for the entire cleanse. Proponents of the The
Master Cleanse say it is more gentle on the body because it
contains some essential vitamins and minerals. According to
proponents it is recommended to be on the cleanse for a minimum
of ten days.
The lemon
detox drink made from fresh lemon or lime juice, maple syrup,
water and Cayenne pepper is one of the best recipes to help the
liver detox. It will detox the liver and remove the toxin and
reduce weight. A lemonade detox diet will remove unwanted
toxins from the body. After that you will feel naturally
rejuvenated. However the mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup,
cayenne pepper and pure water does not suit
everyone.
Lemon juice
is an excellent source of Vitamin C and helps to support
increased functionality of the bowels. Cayenne can also help to
stimulate the metabolism, causing the toxins to flush through
the system rather than lingering in the colon. Lemon water as
been used to cleanse the body for many years. It also provides
nutrients like vitamin C which is essential for good health.
Lemon water is a refreshing drink, known for providing numerous
health benefits.
